I've known Ron Mitchell for 20 years now. He's 65 years old and been homeless for 35 years. Originally from Texas, he moved to Los Angeles and briefly worked in the movie industry. One of the most intelligent people I've every met. His passion for the movie industry has never diminished. For years he hung around the movie sets of Director Nora Ephron, who gave him food, money and the respect he deserved. By any means necessary, and still a great mystery to all of us, Ron travels across the U.S. visiting various movie sets to see his friends at work and to give him a sense of purpose. By far, one of the most famous homeless men amongst the movie industry crowd. He is a sweet, considerate and brilliant man who lost his way.
